Remote consultation for those who cannot get to a specialist!
In order to help our Patients during the epidemiological situation, we provide remote consultation services in most of the departments. The fee for the service varies by specialty.
- During the remote consultation, the user of the service receives advice from our specialist by phone only at a pre-arranged time.
- Before booking an appointment, our colleagues make sure that the examination of the given problem can be performed in a remote consultation.
- A remote consultation does not replace a face-to-face doctor-patient meeting .
- During a remote consultation, a partial examination is performed, and the doctor makes his/her recommendation based on the data and information provided by the patient. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that the consulting doctor receives as much background information as possible before the consultation.
- We would like to inform you that we cannot undertake remote consultations on an urgent basis!
To this end, we ask that you first send the following information to tavkonzultacio@dunamedical.com:
- name
- date of birth
- a brief description of the complaint/condition (if possible, attaching a document – if you consent to us handling them)
- have you ever been to Duna Medical Center?
Our colleagues will then check whether you are suitable for a remote consultation. If so - and only then - purchase the remote consultation on our webshop. Our colleagues will then contact you and arrange an appointment.
During the consultation, it is also possible to write a prescription. You can receive the prescription as an e-prescription, or we will send it to you by post. When sending by post, please note that this may take longer than usual in the current situation.
For instance, oncology remote consultation is also available, performed by Prof. Dr. György Bodoky, with preliminary findings evaluation and longer consultation time, the fee is 55,000 HUF.
