Neck Surgeries

Neck Surgeries

Within the framework of our ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) surgery department, we treat diseases of the ears, nose, nasal sinuses, oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, and neck organs using modern surgical procedures.
The majority of our interventions are carried out on an outpatient basis, but some surgeries may require a minimal hospital stay. Our highly skilled doctors perform procedures using state-of-the-art technology.

Benign Neck Tumor Removal

Benign neck tumors, although noncancerous, can lead to discomfort and potential health risks. At Duna Medical Center, we carry out the precise removal of these tumors, ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding tissues. Commonly, these surgeries involve areas such as the thyroid, parathyroid, lymph nodes, and salivary glands.

Each surgery's duration varies, but typically, a benign neck tumor removal procedure lasts between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the tumor's size and location. We pride ourselves on our meticulous attention to detail and dedication to patient safety, aiming for a speedy recovery.

Thyroid Surgery

Thyroid surgeries are commonly performed procedures at Duna Medical Center. The procedure involves the partial or complete removal of the thyroid gland, often due to conditions such as thyroid cancer, goiter, or overactive thyroid.

Our team employs modern, minimally invasive techniques for thyroid surgeries, allowing for less discomfort, quicker recovery, and fewer complications. Depending on the extent of the thyroid gland affected, the surgery may last from 1 to 3 hours.

Post-surgery, our patients may need to spend a night or two in the hospital for careful monitoring and to ensure a smooth recovery process. We understand that every patient is unique and tailor our care plans to meet individual needs and comfort.
