After completing my therapeutic massage studies, I started working at the Lukács Bath in 2013, where I gained extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal complaints. I also completed a kinesiology taping course to further support my patients’ recovery.
Although I still love this profession to this day, I longed for something new and for greater challenges. I first turned toward the nursing field, where during our obstetric practice we had the opportunity to witness the miracle of birth. I will never forget how wonderful and deeply moving it felt to be part of a couple becoming a family. Seeing the tears of joy on the parents’ faces (I admit, I often had tears in my eyes too – and this still happens), and witnessing the happiness shared by the whole team supporting and caring for the mother. That was the moment I felt I had found what I wanted to be part of every single day. Alongside my nursing studies, I therefore began my midwifery studies in parallel. I obtained my midwifery degree at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pécs in 2021.
I love that as a midwife I can be the first to welcome the newborn, the first to place the baby on the mother’s chest, and to see her embrace her child through tears of joy. I consider it an exceptional honor to be present at such an intimate and unrepeatable moment. It is very important to me that expectant mothers receive all the physical and emotional support they need during pregnancy, labor, and birth. This motivation has driven me to support mothers more broadly from pregnancy through the postpartum period, and to connect the knowledge “in my hands” — therapeutic massage and the midwifery profession. This is how I discovered and mastered pregnancy massage techniques, as well as how to use the positive effects of kinesiology taping during pregnancy.
